Almond Weddings in 2007
With the acquisition of two new properties - the newly opened Almond Morgan Bay Beach Resort on St Lucia and Almond Casuarina Beach on the south coast of Barbados, which is due to open in spring 2007 - Almond Resorts hopes to double the number of weddings at its resorts in 2007.
St Lucia is one of the most requested wedding and honeymoon destinations and Almond Resorts has introduced two new wedding venues at its new hotel, Almond Morgan Bay Beach Resort, which opened in November last year. The new hotel has a restaurant and gazebo built onto the end of its pier which can be used as a wedding venue for those wishing to have a different over-water wedding, plus an additional gazebo which is built high into the cliff top overlooking Morgan Bay.
Both new resorts will adopt the same FREE wedding package as is already used at the Almond Beach Village and Almond Beach Club & Spa as long as they stay a minimum of 10 nights - the hotel group keeps it simple for agents by employing the same wedding and honeymoon packages for all four of its properties.
For weddings in 2007, Almond Resorts is expanding on its offering by providing a more personalised wedding service, aiming to meet all couples' requirements in order to make their day exactly as they had hoped. Couples are able to choose from a range of optional wedding extras to make their wedding go with a swing, such as a gospel choir and steel pan band, a private beach barbeque for friends and family or an exclusive romantic dinner for two on the beach to celebrate their special day as well as special spa package extras such as the 'Loving You' spa package, that includes a choice of spa treatments, can also be pre-booked alongside the wedding package.

Almond Resorts offers free wedding and honeymoon packages to those who stay a minimum of ten nights, otherwise a charge of £395 applies.

A ten-night stay at the Almond Morgan Bay Beach Resort on the west coast of St Lucia between 31 May - 30 June 2006 is priced at £1,239 per person whilst ten nights at the either the Almond Beach Village or Almond Beach Club & Spa on the west coast of Barbados between 1 and 18 May 2006 is priced at £1,359 per person.
